The Wilson-Hairston family demonstrated its commitment to its diverse history, acknowledging the past, while solidifying its common interest and unity for a shared future with its incorporation. We understand that our family will have an international impact as we lead, solve problems, and implement solutions for other families and regions to thrive worldwide. We have no tolerance for racism, segregation (socially nor economically), popularism, elitism, classism, nor any other forms of discrimination or oppression reminiscent of world history.

It was the desire of the grantor to demonstrate this diverse commitment to inclusivity through the establishment of the irrevocable Wilson-Hairston Family Trust. The trust will be/is governed by an international group of family members (with exceptions) to serve as trustees with the fiduciary responsibility and authority to manage the assets and build multi-generational wealth on our behalf of the grantor, her descendants, and "all" descendants of Wilson-Hairston families as outlined in the trust agreement.
 
The five (5) trusteeships are comprised of international family representatives, with exceptions to include leadership in the tech industry, to ensure its solvency. One of the five positions should have domicile in the United States, while the remainder will have domicile in the UK/EU. This was a strategic and historical decision. European countries have centuries of experience founding and operating trusts, expounding upon successes and learning from challenges with critical thinking to develop policies and or applicable laws to ensure the trust and its beneficiaries survive global change. Even more importantly, because our family is global, we wanted to ensure broader influence and impact. After a period of time, as outlined in the Trust, the number of representatives in the U.S. may increase.

As the founder of the Trust, I have designated Olivia Monet Grant as the Trust Protector. She is the sole representative for the Motley-Grant family, and will work with her siblings on various service projects they may co-lead with her. If she vacates this role, Douglas Jordan Grant, U.S. Army veteran, satellite communications, QTS Data Center, Peachtree City, Georgia is her successor with subsequent future successors as outlined in the terms.

Olivia was selected for this position because she was directly involved in the design and development of the family business from the beginning. Along with her siblings, she was exposed to tech at an early age (10 yrs) attending events including robotics competitions since 2010. She has had experience visiting the multi-Billion dollar tech company, Google in Venice California, and spending the day with their staff to witness first-hand its internal operations and opportunities. She accompanied the grantor at business meetings and set up presentations. She has attended Hackathons and has socialized with the grantor to meet a fortune 500 executive with young confidence while amongst the diversity of tech professionals. She maintained her footing. She attended TechWeek events socializing with other tech professionals at the young age of 16. And inspired by the events, she identified missed opportunities to share the excitement of TechWeek and new products to middle and high school students. She offered solutions to fill this gap and suggested college students present their tech projects in marketplaces during the week which was incorporated the following year. She eagerly watched Bloomberg independently to understand the future and evolution of solar energy, business leaders, and other business/finance information. She eagerly devoted time to watch The World Economic Forum at Davos and listened intently to world leaders and panels to discuss various issues. Afterwards, considering all of the information, shared her thoughts and perspective with the grantor. Olivia has had introductions to computer science and programming (Python).

Her personal declaration for this business leadership, valuable exposure to the tech industry, and as an influential contributor to the grantor with architecting the business, community & military service projects is one of many reasons why she was selected. She desires to work with other young people to contribute to the future of technology, "doing or thinking things others hadn't thought of" she stated. Olivia was groomed to demonstrate our values along with her siblings through service with her brothers Harrison and Douglas since the age of 10. From building libraries for homeless children, Toys For Tots, hosting a special support day for homeless families to wreath laying at Arlington National Cemetery and other community service projects, is also why she was chosen to demonstrate our family values and commitment in the community. After participating in the wreath laying events at Arlington National Cemetery with the grantor, a natural problem solver, she shared some fund raising ideas that was shared with the "Wreaths Across America" organization to hopefully provide another revenue stream to achieve their annual financial goals. Her goal is to lead in business and obtain an MBA. 
 
The Terms of the Trust were created by the grantor and are available to its beneficiaries by contacting the Trust Protector via the Contact Page as we built out the vision and trusteeship.
